Carl Kunz

The first time Carl picked up a camera, he was hooked.  He began his art education at Orange Coast College, in California.  After two years,  he attended Pasadena's Art Center College of Design for four more years,  receiving his Bachelors in Fine Arts in 1991.  He began as a Fashion & portrait photographer in Los Angeles. After several years he moved to Paris, France to continue his photography career.
Experiencing Paris and being surrounded by incredible art, he began to become more and more interested in painting as a medium, photography began lacking the challenge that painting could offer.

He has always enjoyed capturing people in portraits the best, but often pursues other interest as his mind wonders through infinite possibilities, explaining his eclectic style.  Preferring to go with what moves him, over any particular style.  "One has to seek beauty and truth in all things" (Titian).
